Dan Conley is a Chicago-based speechwriter, ghostwriter and author. He has served as the chief speechwriter for Virginia Governor L. Douglas Wilder, Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley as well as leaders at numerous non-profits. He has written the Movies Scene by Scene series, that includes analysis of “In the Mood for Love,” “Yi Yi” and “Aftersun.” His book “Essai by Essay” chronicles a 13 year daily journey through Michel de Montaigne’s essays.
