So, today I released another new e-book, “The Love Story that Never Arrives,” about “In the Mood for Love.” It is available now on Amazon in Kindle format and as a paperback. That makes four books released this weekend.

The big one is still to come, my massive “Moral Universe of KK,” book about “The Dekalog,” “The Double Life of Veronique,” and the “Three Colours” films. This will be my largest book project yet, with more than 150 essays, significantly larger than my Montaigne book.

Like my book on “Yi Yi,” I’m going to bring this one out in all available formats, so I won’t make it part of the Kindle Unlimited series. By the way, “Things You Can’t See,” should be up on Apple Books and Barnes & Noble sites tomorrow.

I have to admit, I’m a little intimidated by the Kieslowski project — that’s a lot of essays to proofread and format. I will probably come out with second editions of my first two movie books before I bring this one to market.

Oh, and I also have a play I’m working on. In reality, all of this frantic work is my way of procrastinating on that work. I need the play to slow cook in my head a bit more before I take another leap.
